Adventureland

Yet another item on the infamous bucket list

Adventureland

Since it was Papa's birthday...he had the day off and we needed a rider desperately. Plus who wouldn't want to spend number 56 with your a few of your grandkids riding rides and walking in the hot sun.

Cousin B got to tag along since they live so close and she did awesome!

The bumper cars were a hit. Especially with daddy as rides aren't really his thing!

Sager didn't particuarlly enjoy rides by himself.  I think he might have daddy's genes.

A ride prego momma got to ride.

I also got to hit up the log ride, the tilt a whirl with all the girls and we laughed so hard I almost peed my pants, the raging river, and the ferris wheel.

The biggest surprise of the trip. Shaddy. He is not a dare devil but no hands. What?  He loved the falling star, the gallion. He even rode the tornado with Papa. It wasn't super great but he might try it again or the Dragon next year.

Of course, D played this game. The guessed his weight at 180. Just about 30 pounds off. He won a sword. Definitely worth the $3, don't you think?

Sage loved the little rides. He was champ. No nap. And was still going strong at 6 at night.

They had a blast and I'm just glad I took my camera as I didn't have much else to do but take pictures of our day of pure joy. Memories that will stick with me for a lifetime!

Ells, of course, is a thrill seeker. She wasn't quite tall enough for some rides which bummed her out but gets her excited for next year.  She loved almost everything and kept requesting faster rides. I'm sure she will enjoy the roller coasters next year. And maybe momma will be able to ride along!

Happy Birthday Papa. Thank you for devoting your birthday to us. We can't tell you how much we love you!
