Dance for Ells

This year Ells is trying dance. Lucky for her, her cousin M is in her class. So far they have loved it!
Ballet and tap this year. She still wants to be a gymnastics teacher so we might come back to it and I can see her learning to love soccer (she practices with Shadd's team sometimes) but for now we are trying out dance.

Our days now

School started so our days and our van look a little slimmer now. Don't get me wrong we still seem to get absolutely nothing done while their gone but still it is been a change that has taken some time to get used to and we are just now a month in getting the hang of things around here.

big z flipped forward
And this guy keeps us rolling. My oh my!

Sager is definitely the lover of the family!
Getting some playdates with his cousins M and S

last playdate at the pool with my sis and her kiddos
Z and I have been sitting on the front porch waiting for Sage to wake up from naps. I guess I am longing for my new huge front porch.

And well with boys it gets messy around here. We have been known to do baths around lunchtime lately. But the sandbox creates hours of fun and soon the nice weather outside will come to an end.

Back to School

Summer flew by this year. Don't get me wrong we were definitely ready for school to start and get back into the routine thing but it just seemed like it came and went. I guess thats just the way these days feel from now on.

Due to some construction we hit up open house on Sunday. Not ideal in my opinion but they seemed to still enjoy it. I of course was more prepared for Shadd and snapped a picture of him but failed to snag one of Ells. Geez.

I did leave D in charge and he didn't even unpack his front pocket full of supplies. Oh boy!

The first day...

The sun gave us all smiles and well we were kinda rushing around this morning. Totally should have been more prepared.

We all went for the big day. I mostly tagged along since I missed it last year. Totally not worth all the crying I did in the hospital last year. The hype is there but its quick and painless.

Ells lining up

Ells and Cousin M

Ells and her teacher (shadd's from last year)

Shadd and his teacher (should have snapped a couple - her eyes were closed)

And then we rushed to Sams and Walmart for some groceries. My new life from 8-3 with these two crazy boys. I got stopped a few times as usual and people commented how they had a 3 and 1 year old too... well just add a few more to that! Kinda funny the assumptions people make.

And when we got home. We had to get our school work underway. This little dude is keeping me ready to roll each day! He loves it!

Summer Week 12

Summer Week 11

wowzers. it is taking me forever to get caught up. soon. real soon.

we hit up an adventure with some of our besties. and lets just say adventure. we headed to big creek park. as any novice. siri wasn't super helpful. thanks to the awesome guide at the conservation office we found the right spot. but after some driving around the campground we discovered the access road was closed. so we walked. yep like a mile downhill (you know what that means - 1 mile uphill). so i have seen amazing pictures of this place but with high waters and raging areas well not much like i envisioned. still fun. and thankfully our kiddos were like in the best moods ever. well then we had a picnic with some peeing etc. but then in got real fun with a couple #2 accidents at a local school park - sorry to the janitor there, whoops. we also got questioned by a couple teenagers whether we were a daycare (geezo we just have 6 kiddos). but we laughed a ton and got to have fun together so nothing better. totally reality show worthy though

then it was z's birthday - 1 year!

we opened presents - he loved the golf clubs of course!

mostly how i see this guy. begging for food and driving me bonkers especially at suppertime.

we had a hot game of bingo going

dragging golf clubs around

hit up the zoo with friends

he loves is blankies just like big bro

snuggle time with our newest niece c

hit up pancheros with all four by myself - got a ton of stares but we did really good actually!

packed school supplies - like every sane mom does a few weeks ahead of time in the smallest room of the entire house!

perfected dance moves

picked out flooring for the new house

found out the z loves popcorn
