Oh the joy and excitement of Christmas morning. We weren't up extremely early. We are early risers now matter what day it is so it was our usual around 6am to 6:30 wake up call. They were excited about all the treasures that Santa had brought!
One of the biggest surprises was nintendo ds for all the bigs. don't worry z thinks the iPad is his ds.
And then we ate breakfast, read the christmas story and just hung out and opened gifts from mom and dad...later uncle j and aunt a came over and grandma and grandpa and papa and frama to play games.
Each year I try and make one homemade gift. This year was felt pennants. I have been eyeing some on etsy for years so I decided it was the time to get them made.
They turned out fun and weren't too hard. I wouldn't use fabric glue next time to hold the letters in place though because it made hand stitching a bit tougher. But super fun!
