summer: june in photos

our summer started off earlier than normal. because we had no snow days. say what. yep we got out on the friday before memorial day. even though it was longer by a week or a few days it still flew by!

we threw rocks and played at frama and papas

we hit up some favorite parks.

the pool with our best buds the j's

had a lemonade stand and raised $250 for friends of ours from old church in honor of the their little girl. we have such a sweet neighborhood with big hearts!

lots of pool time if i could manage. its not easy with 5 and two non swimmers. next year right!

art for kids hub - thanks jones design company for the suggestion. it gave us something to do in the heat and rain. check it out if you haven't. all my kiddos love it!

  backyard playtime

my 4 boys. building. always building

d and i got some rounds of golf in this year. thanks jess

picking berries with jess - she is the greatest and a complete life saver again this summer! loo and z did mostly eating. good thing they don't charge you for that!

picnic lunches. some at home and some at parks. no pictures from the park. pure survival.

 gymnastics for ells

playdates with friends. exploring clarks tower

new crazy earrings for this girl.

sage lost his first tooth

loo turned one - we celebrated farmyard style - post to come

roasting smores and fires

jr golf tournaments for shadd - ells and sage and some grandparents got to tag along

lots of walks and stick throwing

movie date nights - thanks to rain

sonic happy hour - transformer slushies

arts and crafts getting a bit wild

operation barnswallow.  those things year after year love our deck. thanks to garden forum we got some rug pad sticky netting and they hate it. no barnswallows for us. our neighbors not so lucky. yuck. bird poop and mud nests. however you should see d go to battle. the start to swoop and hover and he comes flying inside. if you could be there you would be laugh crying right along with me.
next year i'll attempt to video it!

hitting up the beach with our cousins. had the place to ourselves. we did have to park and walk what always seems like a mile and the babies ate a ton of sandy chex mix. next time we will have lunch and then hit the beach. still super fun!
