pictures from august

August is always a busy month. Wrapping up summer and enjoying the days to the fullest! 
I love spending it with these guys! 

 we did lots of walks - some on the trail behind our house and some around our neighborhood

our church didn't do vbs this year due to the construction project so we joined our cousins in town and had a blast doing a go fish victory vbs this year

towers always building towers. now why on my kitchen island to avoid the tower destroyer aka lazy loo

this guy is a busy body. loves to make messes

reunited with our college buddies for the day and their two boys! 

no summer is complete without a trip to the farm and some adventures. we took a little hike looking for the creek which isn't quite as accessible as i remembered it being. times are changing!

date days to golf with my best friend. so thankful we can sneak away to play together. someday we can play every day!

 we hosted some of our college buddies for a reunion. shadd holding miss maddy. and a giant game of kickball. about 20 kiddos and 16 adults. it was super fun
