dad was the watchdog

we hit up the iowa historical museum with our friends - so fun and kid friendly!

this guy loves all the things from his crib after nap - and bumps and bruises are his middle name!
he has a new one everyday it seems

hosted a women's retreat - lots of fun and laughs

 sage was the star student!

got lasik done. best money I've ever spent and I've only worn glasses and contacts for a few years. so simple and easy. felt kinda crummy for about 5 hours and then i was good as gold. the kids were a little worried at school all day and came home and were relieved to see that i wasn't blind!

went to the isu game with 4 out of 5 - let the 5th stay with frama as he isn't one for the bleachers

started to pull out the christmas decorations

found some trading cards - that ells you just never know what she will craft up! she definitely has the imagination to make just about anything! my personal favorite is our uncle n - ranks right up there with steph curry and aaron rodgers!

my momma turned 60! so we got to celebrate as adults going out for dinner!  we also compiled a list of our favorite things about frama!

we finally broke down and retired the tree we got for $10 when we were first married. it had seen better days. d let me talk him into a flocked tree and i love it! just extra fun for downstairs!

grandma d broke out some old sweaters hand knitted and all the grands got to sport them with grandma and grandpa! sage loved his. he would! and he wore it non-stop for a few days!

got a nice day to visit the new park in town!
bath time fun with these two - sometimes in the middle of the day! you gotta survive when its cold!

went this route this year for advent. paper bags!
games games games - all day everyday with z. his favorites are uno, sequence, sneaky squirrel and now war!
