Look alikes

Stumbling on old pictures always just reminds me how much my kiddos look alike. What an amazing way God creates us humans! Alike, yet different. Similar but distinct! Wow! What an awesome Creator!

Laz 3 months

Laz is 3 months...

This guy is a spitter. Like yuck most of the time. He is getting chubbier by the day. He is a super fast nurser. All my babes really are. He loves to roll over. Both directions. Still a great sleeper. Mostly through the night. Still so crazy because NONE of my babies have ever done that. Naps in his crib if we are home! And a great napper too! He is really a great baby! Still kind goes a long time between poops though! Usually once a week! Crazy I know! But well there could be worse things, right?

All I have to say is slow down time. This is my baby!

Its just me and the boys during the day! We mostly hang out, play, do school, crafts, run errands, go to the library, play games, play outside, go for walks etc. Our days go fast but we sure have fun! We are all excited to pick them up at 3:25 though! Sometimes a little groggy from napping but its all good once we see Shaddy and Ells!

We sold it!

Well we sold it. Yep we closed at the end of August. Thankfully only a couple months of dual mortgage payments but we were glad to close the door on the house. It will always hold a special place in my heart but I didn't really miss it when we were gone. Probably because this house is so similar and has everything I loved about that one and more.

We asked the kids and they miss certain things but are mostly glad we live in our new house. Shadd misses all his friends right outside to play with 24/7, Ells too, Sage misses mario (our wii worked at that house and doesn't here not due to the house but I guess he thinks so)! Made us laugh though!

We were thankful it sold to someone who will love it and enjoy it! And it always reminds me that really my house isn't a home without all the sweet people I love.

Dress Up Fun

Mario is kind of a big deal around here. So when a friend of Shadd's mom mentioned her boys were mario and luigi one year for halloween and offered up the costumes I jumped at the chance! 

And it has provided entertainment for hours! Plus I dug out our big trunk of dress up stuff since the move. They spent a good couple of hours downstairs. D was shocked and questioning why we waited so long! 

So a little halloween teaser. But so much fun! 

1st day of School

And just like that we are back at it! 2nd and 1st grade already!

Z was still sleeping and missed the photo shoot, still on summer hours that one!

They had a great day and are super excited to get started this year. Me too as summer just brings chaos and the quiet days of fall are just refreshing to my soul. But I miss my babies being home all day too!
