You know its getting close to Christmas when D gets the itch to start hanging lights. He has really come full circle in our marriage on this one. He hates heights and really just can't do them but he is bound and determined to get our house decked out.
Thankfully my brother came to the rescue here as the scurrying across probably the lowest part of our roof was a little too hard for me to watch.
And trader joe wreaths are amazing. I got this guy and he is really huge. It was $10 and I will be splurging and have them pretty much all over my next house next year! Beautiful!
We started to put up our free tree we have been rocking for the past three years and every time we put it up we start the hunt for a new tree. A grown up one that we actually spent money on. You know one that is beautiful and an investment instead of a real trees every year. We almost bought one last year but were unsure on the size of our great room in our next house. Well we officially now the height so we pulled the trigger!
She was ordered late monday night and arrived on our front porch Friday! Good thing Z was sick so we could cancel our sitter and spend the entire night unpacking and sprucing the new tree. Beautiful!
