A few weekends ago D ran the Dam to Dam again. Its hard to believe I ran it just last year and now I have a Big Belly and couldn't trot that far if I tried.
We got up early and headed down to the race. Dad is faster so we caught him at mile 12. He was hot and tired. It was really muggy and we haven't had much of that weather yet so it was a tough race. He thinks he might be hanging up the shoes but I would doubt that!
Dad is the best and we are so so proud of him! I wouldn't count him out for the Des Moines Half. But we shall see.
