Tropical Slushies taken from Taste of Home
Ingredients
6 c water, divided
5 ripe bananas
2 c sugar
2 cans of frozen orange juice concentrate
1 can of frozen lemonade concentrate
1 can of pineapple juice (46oz)
3 liters of sprite
Directions: We cut the recipe in thirds. Used a bit of water to blend the banana in the blender. Then add all the rest except the sprite and freeze in bucket or ice cubes. Allow time to freeze. Add a little of frozen mixture to cup and pour equal part sprite. Enjoy!
We are going to attempt some homemade popsicles next. Red, white and blue ones to boot!
