Christmas Eve

We had a little christmas photo shoot before we left for Christmas Eve service. And with Christmas being on Sunday (we elected to stay home and worship here - we dressed up and took a few photos!)

And my ultimate favorite

We did something a little different this year on Christmas Eve...our children performed a Christmas play. It wasn't your average Christmas play. Nope. It was a scene from heaven of God talking to his angels about his grand plan to send His son Jesus. So thankful for our kid's worship leaders and the time and energy that went into making this a fun little play for our kids to take part in. 

Shadd was angel with a few lines and ells and sage were some of the other angels. Ells was going to be the star but decided against it later. The angels were having a great time snacking on candy in heaven. My mom didn't know they could eat it so she kinda signaled to them to stop. They gave her a look like we can! It was hilarious.

In the play it then went to a video that was shot in early november with the scene of Christmas - mary, jospeph, the baby, the stable, the kings, the star. It was so cute and so perfect!

After the play and we went to Frama and Papa's to get our jammies on and head home for santa

Shadd wrote Santa a note and we were off to bed. Everyone still in our room. Its quite the pile of people to jump around if you have to get out of bed at all in the night. Wink Wink. Thanks a lot Lazzy Loo.
