Summer Week 4

We hit up the pool with our favorite guy!

Pretty sure we have the best dads in the world. Ours rocks but I'm pretty sure its this long line of genes and super dad's before him. And most importantly the best Father out there - GOD! Without Him these guys wouldn't be half the men they are! Thank you Lord for that!

We had a impromptu photo shoot after church. Can I tell you how hard it is to get four kids looking and smiling especially when Sage doesn't know what it means to smile and well z is usually pretty tired after church. Here is some proof. Plus d lasts like 5 minutes.  (I mean "come on" you wanna pay for someone else to take them? Put forth some effort bud" - at least thats my thoughts on it)

We had my parents over along with my brother and his family for some grilling and water fun.

We headed to Pella for some fun with Aunt K and our cousins. Hit up the natural playscape. Why can't there be any shade in these places uh?

We hit up another family bike ride. We headed to the library and they rocked it. Quite the riders we have. On our bucket list is to hit up a long one on the trail. Maybe from Waukee to Dallas Center or something. We shall see.

We hit up Adeventureland with Papa and Frama to celebrate Papa's birthday. Of course I was a rider this year so way less photos and way more riding from this deprived mama.  It was a blast. And Ells and Shadd rocked all the coasters this year. Ells even does hands in the air. Proud mama moment. Then theres Sage - Oh sager! Loves the thought of rides just not really. He cried and shouted for the big boat to stop the entire time. I think he and dad found all the rides on the ground. He liked the little dragon ride, the tea cups and the frogger. Shadd cleaned house in bingo. Play with just your family and you will get some serious tickets to spend. We came home with quite the loot. Plus D did the weight guess again so we got a new football. We had a blast and so did Z man hanging out with Grandma D for the day! The bigs will be back with their cousins soon so they are pumped to do it again.

Ells had a sleep over at Frama's with Cousin B.

The boys and I rented the Lego movie (again) and hit up Tropical Sno. And we hit up the pool again.

And well the other days we just hang out and rest. Lots of rest. Like right now all are napping and well that's one quiet peaceful house (except I totally typed this out about 3 weeks ago and am just now uploading pictures).
